Anya Hindmarch’s much applauded modern amphitheatre stage set for her SS17 runway collection has received a bronze award from The Impression for Top Fashion Show staging of 2016. Another accolade for the designer and one which we are proud to share for our involvement in building the challenging catwalk set. Most of Diagon’s set construction work goes in, goes up, does its job, comes down and gets disposed of and that’s that. In a world of events and temporary set installations we learn not to expect too much so it’s always a delight when something we build is noted, applauded, and rewarded for its excellence.

 

 

 

Anya’s 16 metre spiralling catwalk with its lifting tilting colour changing roof was always going to be a talked about scene setter and enjoyed front page news features, inclusion in the evening news, features in all the fashion press but also in Dezeen and Architectural Digest for the actual catwalk set and now has been voted as one of the best stage sets of 2016.
